Up Down Boy

A range of workshops that creatively explore the themes of Up Down Boy (transition, communication, inclusion, coping with change, imaginative play) suitable for:

  • students with learning disabilities, Key Stages 2 to 5
  • students at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 (citizenship, theatre studies, drama studies)
  • youth theatres
  • health education and social care professionals (see Training)

Up Down Boy is beautifully performed, and it captivated every student.  Although we used it to support Drama, Up Down Boy addresses important questions around inclusivity and diversity, challenges pre-conceptions about learning disabilities and would be an excellent support to PSHE teaching.  I have had no hesitation in re-booking it for spring 2013.”
